Plate Tectonic

                                                                                                                                                                                        The tectonic environment is the phenomena that are responsible for rock deformations after training. These phenomena involve significant physical forces of compression, shear, spacing ... and are strongly linked to the existence of lithospheric plates, which is why we usually speak of tectonic plates.

   Volcanism and earthquakes are the two main manifestations of tectonic human scale. Rock deformation is a consequence in the longer term these events.

It is by knowing the deep structure of our globe that we could understand the origin and operation of plate tectonics.

Knowledge of the main types of deformations, faults and folds, can reconstruct the evolution of land allocated for such deformations.
